So for a girl he chose Evie!

And we are sticking with the boy name we had for Kenzie and that is Easton!

-Easton Michael (Seans middle name) just like how Aubs has my middle name! :) 

I cannot wait to meet this baby and see what it will be! Can't believe this is my last baby forever! 

10 months old

I cannot believe you are already 10 months old. Time has flown by. In two short months you will be ONE. what the heck.

 

You are crawling and pulling yourself up on everything. You also bump your head quite a lot in the process. You love crawling around and getting into all the toys. You make lots of messes for mama to clean up, but at least you are happy while making them.

 

You slept from 8pm all the way until 6am last night, yahoooo! I think you got tired of crying at 3am because mommy won't feed you at night. My favorite thing is when you wake up and Aubree and I walk into your room, you have the biggest smile on your face when you see your sister. You love her so much!

 

You are definitely hitting that stage where you no longer want to wear a headband... whyyy??? I love headbands and I want you to always keep one on. I will just continue on with the struggle.

 

I totally forgot about this stage but for the past month or so you have been in the {I don't want to lay still while you change my clothes or diaper phase.} woo and it's a tough one! I have tried every toy to keep you still but nope!

 

Most of all, you light up my life. You are such an amazing baby girl and I can't wait to see what our future will be like. Keep on smiling and know that mama loves you!

 

 

My personal goal

Losing weight after baby number 2 is so much harder plus all the extra skin (yay!). I am setting a goal for myself to lose my last 6 pounds before my birthday November 16th. About a month ago I started eating really healthy and I lost 10 pounds, but then started eating all that junk again (ugh!). Luckily I didn't gain it back, but still! I have been working out a lot at the gym. I am stuck at home this week because the babes have been sick so they cant go in the gym daycare and I also have had a cold. I've been doing a lot of running on the treadmill and I'm starting to add the x-bike cycle class into my routine. I wish I had a personal trainer to show me way more machines there but I don't right now. (MAYBE... a birthday present... Sean.....) My biggest downfall with eating is 7oclock, 8oclock, 9oclock, 10oclock. lol I love me some sweets at those hours.

First, I am going to start with switching all my drinks to water. I rarely drink soda or juice but whenever I go out to eat.. i'll get a water instead. I realllllly need to start drinking a lot more water especially because I am still breastfeeding Kenzie. I also need to re-do my recipes with healthier, less-fattening meals.

I am currently at 150 lbs. Before I got pregnant with Aubree I was 144 and I lost all that weight and when I got pregnant with Kenzie I was exactly 144 again. My first goal is to get back down to 144. Then set my next goal for 135. It's going to be super tough for me. I LOVE candy, sweets, fruit snacks, coke slurpees.

I am going to continue to update as I go along!


Dinner tonight is a healthy soup! Lots of veggies, beans, chicken :) mmmm!

Fun stay-at-home-mama!

Over the past few days I have really been trying to look into ways to be a fun stay at home mom. Miss Aubree is a very busy child and needs more fun things to do. She is super tired of her toys (yes, I have rotated them). I want to incorporate a story time in the day, craft time, outside play, etc.


Yesterday I grabbed some leaves from outside and we put the leaf under the paper and crayon-ed it onto the paper. Well, I did all the work but she enjoyed coloring all over the paper and asking mommy to draw things like stars, hearts, triangles, diamonds, mamas car (lol).

Today I am about to make some playdoh! I like that its homemade (cheaper) and if she were to eat it she'd be fine!

I would loveeee some more ideas for projects to do! I also want to do some sort of shape sorting. She LOVES shapes! I also want to start teaching her colors, she knows the color purple very well lol. Everything is purple to her.

How far along? 38 Weeks

Total weight gain: 31 lbs.
Maternity clothes? Maternity jeans. I wear lots of pre pregnancy tank tops and gaucho pants, leggings, and skirts :)
Stretch marks? nothing yet (eeeeee!)
Sleep: Not so amazing anymore! Right now I cant sleep because i'm sick or its because you pee a thousand times at night, or you just cant get comfortable with a bowling ball on your belly.
Best moment this week: I went swimming at my grandparents this past weekend and it was very relaxing and nice!
Miss Anything? Having my body to myself!!! I want a margarita... I want to be able to breathe... I'd prefer to have no more heartburn :) Movement: Yep.. she is not nearly as active as miss Aubree was. (yaaaay)
Food cravings: Umm, craved a salad the other day. Candy of course... cheese stuffed crust pizza!
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope.
Gender: Girly girl!
Labor Signs: Unfortunately no :( I was having a bunch of Braxton hicks the other day but they have pretty much stopped. 
Symptoms: tired :)
Belly Button in or out? Definitely OUT!! I have one of those pop out belly buttons that shows through all my shirts lol. ugh! I want my innie back lol!
Wedding rings on or off? I can still wear it but I haven't been. It gets uncomfortable by the end of the day.
Happy or Moody most of the time: I would say both :)
Looking forward to: meeting my baby love! I cant wait to hold her and kiss her! I wanna know what she looks like.. I am beyond excited to meet her :)

Baby Items I want!

So I basically have everything for my new baby girl! I have way TOO many clothes and I can make all the accessories!

 

So here is my list of things that I am going to buy and a few things I really want and hope I will end up buying lol!

First thing:

InStep Safari Tandem Jogging Stroller

So happy that this isn't side by side because I would only use it for walks. This one I can use for everywhere! Love!

 

Next thing:

Beco Gemini Baby Carrier

This has such amazing reviews and it can hold children forever basically. This would be nice to carry Aubree sometimes when I can't use a stroller lol. But, I want one so I can lug baby #2 around easier.

 

Last thing:

Petunia Pickle Bottom Boxy Diaper Bag

I LOVE how big this is and that you can wear it as a backpack!

Obviously I am trying to find a used one because I don't want to spend 180$ on a diaper bag... so Ebay is my friend :)

Appointment this morning

I have gained 6 pounds which kinda scares me! I am on the treadmill as we speak ahahah! I really need to start watching what I eat now! I don't know how bad 6 lbs is so far but oh well.

My blood pressure was 135/79. It's been pretty much the same at every appointment. Lets just hope it doesn't start raising now :(

I heard the heartbeat and my baby moving around, love her! :)

So, I have completely changed my mind on the nursery decor colors and everything! I was searching online tonight at premade crib bedding sets and I found the CUTEST set. Even Sean loves it... ALOT. So I am checking it out and looking at all the details and I come across the price... 250$............ FIGURES! I will NOT spend that much money on a dumb crib bedding! After staring at the bedding for a while I remember that i've seen that fabric somewhere online. I googled Fabric.com and what do you know... there is the fabric! I am so beyond excited! It's only $7.48 per yard too! SCORE!

 

 

 Here is the crib bed set! So cute, right?

 

 

Like my previous post... I want to make all that same cute stuff but I want to use the chevron and flower fabric!

 

I'm not going to make the bumper because I probably won't use it and i'm too lazy to spend that much time on it!

 

I can't wait!!!! Now what color should I paint the dresser??? Dark Gray??

Driving in the rain...

I HATE driving in the rain... but I REALLY hate driving in the rain on the freeway.

Am I the only one???

I feel like everyone is speeding, the road and sky are the same color, there is so much mist in the air, and the roads are slippery. I get a lot of anxiety and I know some other states/places have it so much worse but it sucks!

THAT'S MY VENT FOR TODAY! :)

One last thing... I think Aubree is boycotting food. Hmmm...

Nursery Planning!

 

I am SUPER excited to plan the nursery. I was the same way when I was pregnant with Aubree too! :) This time I want grey and white CHEVRON wooo. Chevron is my new love! <3 I am gonna post a few pictures of what I want to create. I plan on making most of the nursery decor because it will save me lots of money...I hope.

 So what I have in my head is a handmade chevron bed skirt like this one..Should be SUPER easy to make and be pretty cheap compared to Etsy and what not.

I am going to make a baby blanket/comforter even though I rarely ever used Aubree's on her bed. But whatever it's cute and I want to make it. I want to do the one side grey and white chevron and the other side lavender minky fabric, soooo soft! :)

 

Next I want to BUY a lavender fitted sheet. The reason for buying is because I dont know if I have the patience to make a fitted sheet. Adding elastic on the corners does not sound appealing to me!

I don't think i'm going to make crib bumpers because I hardly used them for Aubree. If I do need some I have some white breatheable bumpers that I can use.

 

I recently bought a $30 dresser from a garage sale type website that's local. It's a little beat up but my brother in law is going to help me sand it down and paint it/spray paint it! So after looking on pinterest forever.. I see a lavender/purple dresser. Hmm... how cute would that be! But is it worth it for me to paint it lavender. I am really not sure. So maybe I'll stick with white but here's both pictures!

 

 

I love the short and long style dressers so I can put the changing pad on it and have a little spot to put diapers, wipes, cream, etc. These dressers are similar to what I bought. I want a lavender changing pad cover.. once again I think i'll just purchase that because me and adding elastic don't work well together. We have a brown minky one for Aubree so lavender minky for the new baby girl!

 

Now for the fun stuff! I want to make all of these silly pointless things. I know they are worthless but it gives me something to do while I wait all the way until June to see my new baby love! So here they are. Keep in mind everything will be in grey and white and lavender colors.

 

 

 

(^^^car seat canopy for all those nasty people wanting to be touchy, fabric will be a lot thinner since i'm having a summer baby)

 

 

And you can't forget wall art! At this time I don't think we are going to paint the room so it will stay white. So I need lots of pretties to go on the wall. I can make all of them so that will be easy and MUCH cheaper. I think I will wrap a few canvas boards with the grey and white chevron fabric.

 

 

 

 

 

I recently bought a boppy pillow for $5-$10 (can't remember exactly). I want to make a cover for it! So here's an idea of what want to make!

 



 

Last but not least burp cloths!!! YAY I like making these! I've actually made a few recently for my Etsy customers and one set for a baby shower. I like making ones that are solely cotton fabric and the other side being minky fabric! They are super cute and big!

I am having a baby GIRL! <3

13 WEEKS!

How far along? 13 weeks!

Total weight gain: up 2.5-3 pounds. May have lost a half a pound.

Maternity clothes? Nope, but got some cuteee dresses from Forever 21 that I am wearing as long shirts! Love Love Love them! (I'm wearing one in the picture) They were all under $13.

Stretch Marks? No

Sleep: I am sleeping amazing lately, thank goodness! I know this won't last long!
Best moment this week: Last night we went and looked at Christmas lights which was so much fun, Aubree slept through it all though! I had a dream (I think it was a dream) that I felt my sweet baby moving around in my belly last night. I woke up wondering if it was real or a dream.
Miss Anything? I miss my normal back. It hurts so bad lately L
Movement: Not yet, I hope soon though!
Food cravings: Coke slurpees.

Can't believe i'm already 13 weeks! Going fast...but not fast enough :) I can't wait for this ugly back pain to go away. The doctor said it's probably just from holding/picking up Aubree all the time. He got me an appointment to see a physical therapist, thank gosh. And a doctor's note to sit at work! Enjoy my post!

GOOD Morning!

I FINALLY slept all through the night!!!!! I feel as if my cold is going away quickly, how did I luck out?! I usually get the worst cold that lasts way too long.

My baby Aubree has been a little handful this morning, but you know what, instead of going crazy... i'm just going to be thankful for my baby girls health. I am lucky that Aubree is able to be running around crazy and whining, there are many who lose their children, have sick children who would do anything for a healthy baby. Soooo.... here's to a patient day :D that is hopefully filled with lots of smiles and laughter!
