Friday Craft Day-- Baby Dress

Alright, I'm slightly obsessed with crafting and making new stuff! Yesterday I was looking at hand made dresses, tutorials, and tons of pictures! Finally when Sean got home I went into the craft room and made Aubree a new dress! I love it! I can't wait until I know how to do more things on my sewing machine! I want to ruffle and gather stuff but I don't know what to use on my sewing machine to do that!

Anyways, I'll be looking on pinterest today to find another craft for this lovely friday! :)

Maybe i'll start a friday craft day and post a new craft I made every week! Sounds like a great idea! :)

Coupons!

Good Afternoon!

I have been looking at krazy coupon lady's website! I would love to start couponing, NOT extreme couponing because I dont have the time and/or patience for that. But hey if I can save .50 to 1.00 on things I buy normally...why not?? Sean and I are going grocery shopping tonight and I have a few coupons to bring :) I'm excited!

I found a $5 off coupon for babies r us or toys r us! You don't even have to spend a minimum amount which is awesome!

Alright, well wish me luck on my coupon adventure! I have to save as much $$ as possible with Sean going into the credential program next week and he will only be working 3 days a week! AHHHH, I don't want to be broke! :(

Blessed Mama

I feel so blessed to be Aubree's mom! She is the most precious, fun, sweet baby to be around. She brightens every day of mine! She has been so much happier now that she is walking and can do what she wants....finally :) I am so in love with that little girl it's not even funny. I rocked her to sleep tonight and she laid her head down on me so fast and was listening to me sing. We both fell asleep for a little bit and I woke up with a pile of drool and sweat on my chest ha ha! I just want to snuggle her all day and night! Wish I was a stay at home mommy! One day...

Sean and my anniversary was so much fun! It was nice to be able to enjoy eachother without having to change a diaper and to have a nice quiet dinner. The weather was amazing in Santa Cruz as well... lets go back now!! <3

I love my baby girl so much. I brought her into her room tonight and instead of laying her down (in which she would scream for 20 minutes) I rocked her. I rocked her facing outwards and she was wiggling and squirming then I moved her so our chests were touching and she laid her head down and fell asleep in about 2 minutes. I couldn't help but cry at how sweet that moment was. I feel guilty sometimes because I try to always make sure I do everything right and "by the book." I think I need to knock that off and do what's right for Aubree and not worry about her obtaining bad habits. Is it really normal for a tired one year old to scream for 20-30 minutes before naps and bedtime?? I am really not sure but if she likes being rocked then I should spend that time with her. It's actually extremely relaxing for me as well! Anyways I enjoyed my night with my family and can't wait to do it all over again tomorrow night!

Monday-- My hottie husband and I leave for Santa Cruz! So excited!!! Our anniversary is Tuesday, TWO whole years married ;)! Those two years flewww by so fast! Seems like yesterday that we first met, and now we have been married for 2 years and together for 5 years! Love my husband so much! I am seriously spoiled ;) He treats me so well and is honestly the best dad I have ever seen! He would do anything for that sweet little girl <3

Lasagna Roll Ups

We had a fun day! Walked around the inside of maidu in nearly 90 degree weather, went to the park, relaxed and made a yummy dinner! I made Lasagna Roll Ups :)

This is Aubree getting into trouble while mommy cooks. (Please note: chairs all around the animals water bowl because she likes to swim) She was pulling out all of the books, eating pages from them, and ripping out pages...grrr!

Lean ground beef, onion, garlic, olive oil, and crushed tomato sauce.

Ricotta cheese, egg beaten, and parmesan cheese.

Both mixtures on the noodles!

Roll em up!

Next project... living room. She has toys EVERYWHERE!

Goodmorning!

This morning started early (5:30am) thanks Aubree ;)
I kept trying to get her to go back to sleep but it just wasn't happening this morning but it's alright we watched teen mom together while she snuggled in my lap with her sippy of milk. I really really wanted to go on a early morning walk around maidu and end the walk at the playground but I think she is just a little too tired for that right now so I just laid her down. Maybe we can survive walking around 10, hopefully it won't be to scalding hot!

I am excited! For dinner I am making lasagna roll ups, I've never had them before! I am sure they will be delicious! I will *finally* take a picture of the final meal. By the time i'm done cooking I always forget to take a picture because i'm too starving :)

I hope everyone has a great day :) I am not looking forward to working the rest of the week :(
